What is Accountable Nowadays?

In case you do not know how to desine "accountable", the dictionary says 

accountable /əˈkaʊntəb(ə)l/ 

 1.required or expected to justify actions or decisions; responsible.

"ministers are accountable to Parliament"

 2. able to be explained or understood.

So, my dear reader, what is accountable today? Corruption? Fake news? Bad relationships ending in divorce? Abused children and women? LGBT? COVID-19? What in the world is accountable, ´coz I am afraid the truth is in the grey zine for many....
