The thin line between what we need and what we think we need... The thin line between sanity and insanity...the thin line between life and death... the thin lie between guilty and not guilty (referring to a court trial)... the thin line between truth and lie...the thin line between what others really think about us and what we assume others think about us (perception matters). Where do we draw this line? What makes us draw the line? I believe it is our free will that takes the decisions and draws the thin line. Without it, we would just be like robots, bodies walking around like zombies.

To give some examples for the above statements... Many of us think that in order to be happy (a concept), need to earn a lot of money (another concept). Then we turn into "workaholics" or work addicts, which makes us unhappy and not quite rich, but we hope to get rich one day. Hah! The human mind is mysterious! So growing rich is based on hope (for many), on luck (for few, if they win the lotto). And this is all related to... being happy? Then all humans should be on the street begging for a dollar. I have this picture in my mind. If they think that brings them happiness.

Okay... Another example that comes to mind is how we percieve ourselves and we think others percieve ourselves. I think this is a debated topic, but still I want to put emphasis on it. If you think poorly of yourself, others will see you like that too. Remember that you are mirroring your own feelings. But, on the other hand, if you have a strong personality, and you are confident, others will percieve you like that.

Have a super day! And please do show the awesome person that you are!
